Machu Picchu and the like

Post by mikedabomb on Wed Jul 23, 2014 10:39 pm

How does one keep an accounting of these kinds of destinations? Specifically:

1) From where does one obtain each of these rather rare maps?
2) Is Machu Picchu special in that I have 70-something of them?
3) How many other destinations are there and what are these?
4) Where can I go to see my progress towards earning stars for each one?

If there's a FAQ just point me there. ;-)

Thanks

There is a cool folder called "map set information" in this forum which contains a lot of the info that you're looking for. Check it out.

I found the map sets from Duke's airship are a bit more balanced than what you get flying to the excavation sites, of course the cost 12 green and only give you three maps.

You can check your stars when a given location has an active map. I keep track of these so I know how many more flights I need to fly. Found that on average making expert on each location will give you enough items to complete 18 sets for three monuments; note I always fly with golden dice to these locations, so if your flying without your drop rates will be less.

I've looked around but cannot locate this.  If you can post a URL I'd appreciate it.

Yeah, this is annoying. The map at least should have a way to display it. Thanks.
